About the curator

Jamz Supernova is a UK-based DJ and broadcaster known for her curious ear and global perspective. A digital digger at heart, she’s spent much of her career virtually traveling the world—one song at a time—learning about music scenes and the cultural stories behind them. She’s especially drawn to themes of migration, diaspora, and the way artists explore identity through genre-blurring sounds.

A Mercury Prize judge for the past four years, Jamz is a vocal advocate for the album as a storytelling format—best consumed from start to finish, like a book or film. Through her acclaimed radio shows and her label Future Bounce, she has consistently championed under-the-radar artists and the communities around them. Now, through her Bandcamp Club, she invites listeners to discover new sounds, support emerging talent, and join a celebration of music that moves the world.
