Our monthly selections will run the spectrum: Psych, dub, krautrock, soul, gospel, free jazz, electronica — anything that moves me from the past, present, or future is fair game. About the curator

Ajay Saggar has spent a lifetime involved in music. Playing in bands like Bhajan Bhoy, Chela, and Dandelion Adventure (John Peel session recorded), he has released a countless number of highly acclaimed albums and toured around the world. He was a sound engineer for bands such as My Bloody Valentine, Dinosaur Jr., Mogwai, Animal Collective, Sleater-Kinney, Kurt Vile, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and many more. He currently works as a production manager at the famous Amsterdam venue, the Paradiso. He also makes radio shows for Slack City Radio (UK) and Radio WORM (NL).

rgod8855 What have I been listening to? Recent releases by Goon, bike (a neopsych band from Brazil(?)), two French bands I've found interesting: Mule Jenny and Meule. A little EERA and Stoned Jesus. But the artist I can't stop listening to is Alex E.T. This woman has virtually no following, but her brand of tuneful songs and vocals with fuzz guitars is intoxicating. I stumbled onto her current release, Color of Strange, by accident and boy am I glad I did.
