The Hard Stuff
The most exciting heavy music on Earth.

Spotlighting a mix of new releases and curator favorites, The Hard Stuff explores the world of heavy music from the underground and obscure to renowned favorites in heavy metal, hard rock, and their myriad subgenres. Trad metal, death metal, black metal, punk hybrids, thrash, grind, heavy 70s proto metal throwbacks — you name it. The Hard Stuff covers it.

What are Bandcamp Clubs?

Bandcamp Clubs are a subscribe-to-own experience curated by trusted experts who live and breathe music. When you join a Club, you’re subscribing to receive a new Record of the Month each month, and that record is added to your personal Bandcamp collection. It’s yours to stream or download forever, even if you leave the Club.

Every Club is a space for intentional listening and shared discovery. Your curator selects a standout album for you to collect, explore, and experience alongside a community of fellow listeners.

You’ll also get behind-the-scenes insights, an exclusive curator-led artist interview, and access to a live, curator-hosted Listening Party to connect in real time. At the heart of it all is the curator’s taste. They surface what algorithms overlook: records that reward a closer listen.

This is music discovery at its most meaningful. Expert-led, emotionally resonant, and deeply human.

Mr. Bennett - I was a Decibel reader for many years and discovered so many great bands through that magazine. You had some stellar reviews and awesome interviews. Thank you!
